If you want to help the 15 million children living in poverty in America this is our chance to make it a reality. By re-educating those open to change, the children, with new values and core beliefs, we can help them become productive members of society. The yearly financial cost of poverty is estimated to $1 trillion (half of this amount, the cost of children in poverty). This tab is covered by those in work, through higher taxes. Helping children in poverty is a moral as well as financial responsibility that causes a big burden on society.

Inspired by the PAY IT FORWARD movie/movement, it was decided to use the same basic idea to reach out to as many Americans as possible, with each person who support A SECOND LIFE's initiative of helping children in poverty, being asked to pass the free "life manual" on to the next person.

By foremost building awareness among main stream America, “We the people” can reduce poverty. Everyone deserves a second chance at life and has the ability if reached at young age (0-12 years old) to improve their circumstances if they are given the correct information/ education and have a positive, nurturing and prosperous environment with to support them every step on the way.

It's only by a team effort we can eradicate one of our nation's biggest problems as well as do what is right by not leaving any child behind.
